Steven Spielberg

There are many secenes throught this movie that show that with great riches comes great greed. twoards the middle of  the movie, indy journeys to the minning site were the nazi soildgers serch for the ark. after indy locates were the acctual position of the ark he  comes across his mistrus marion, he has a choice. rescue marion and make sure of her safty or retrive the ark before rescuing her to avoid a head hunt for him whlie searching for the ark. indy choose to leave his lover behind in greed for saving the ark before the nazis do. after many intense sceens later indy shows his colors agen through another choice once agen. indy holds up the nazi soildgers up in their track with a bazooka has has the choice to blow away the ark and the sloidgers and save Marion but when he sloidgers back from the ark greed consums indy, he cannot pull the trigger. he has spent his who life working up to this point looking for such an artifact that he himself wants it and cannot blow it away. not until the very end can indy over come the greed that consumed and lead the nazi solidgers to their death.
this indiana jones movie is a very good example of how steven spielberg shot all of the fast action indy movies. through out the movie, indiana faces once intense escape and rescure sceen after another, with his damsal seemingly always in distress. steven does a good job at always keeping you on your seat by connecting one mini action series to the next. first marion in captured and indy must prefor on death defying stunt after the next inorder to rescue her, then is starts all over egen. steven keeps the plot flowing effortlessly but proving us with lots of information inorder to slow the movie down with unneccacary sceens. example; when indiana is sent on his mition to find the ark we are told that the nazis have alreay fround a site and begun to dig. and then magically indy is there ready for action. instead of showint the nazis finding the site and indys time traveling, steven simply sets up the outline and all we have to do is follow without any unneccaray think involved. i think that this is a good example of a steven spielberg action movie.

so i think that the perfume is in my top 5 fave. i think that this movie does an exalent job at showing the extreme emotional and psychological changes that the character experiences. it goes though the who characters life and all the characters life. when i first watched this movie i was blown away by all of the plot twists and just its sheer gloriness. but after a second viewing i payed much more closelyto the development of the plot and characters. i would highly recommend this movies to people who love to analyze. john (the main character) was raised out of the worst conditions that a boy could be raised and from these circumstances tries his best to stay in contact with the world but causes him to act vert different and distance from the world. but once he finds his calling in life he disscovers a whole new side to him and self worth. but not long after his perception of reality get disstored and get carried away in his longings and desiers. through most of the movie john doesnt talk much at all and there really isnt much conversation, i think that this was done to show how distant and how abstract johns perspective of life was. i think that the ending to this movie also won my heart. and if you havent seen THE FOG, i would recomend the ending. the movie its self does a prity good job showing suspence and drama but is over all perdictable, but the ending, the ENDING is perfect.

citizen kane

i think that this movie is a great example to show that mattierial things can ruin even you. personaly i think thats what tore kane apart. in the beggining his life was simmple, a family, sled, and avoid a beat down here and there. even thought it might not have been his most ideal life style, it was a simple one. i think that when someone gets to into material things that it derives them from true happiness. so kane, all mighty and powerful sits in his thown of treasuers thinking of ways to make, or fource if you will, happiness onto him by others. after susan left kane he broke down in a relization that he failed at fonding love though his means. so when he was standing in his room he was thinking or when like was simple and enjoyable, rosebud. but being kane he wasnt about to go and make any darastic changes because of how stuborn he is. matterial things arnt neccaceraly bad, but when your matterials start to define you and you become so deeply involved in them, they will make you obliviouse to reality. when kane first started running the news papers he still had a simple and enjoyable life. but somewere along the line he fell into a jail of false happiness.

movie talk and the movie walk

very recently i have been thinkung that movie goers are very uneducated on all the techniques that are used. but of course there are going to be people who will not want to learn them because they will think that it will runin watching movies for them. but i think that movies are a very complex art that is very intriging. just recently i was shown a clip from a director named sergi isenstine. i was so aroused by the clip that i went home and watched more of his clips and did my reading on him, and personally i tihkn that he is a geniun. i love tjhe way he can pravoke such powerfull emotioins without all the complex tricks that are used now day. i think that a good film should make you think and get you to feel deep emotion and for you to feel like you have just had an experience equivalent to that of the characters.
